You are responsible for your own health and safety, and that of anyone involved in creating your video content. Please ensure all filming is carried out safely, legally and with any necessary permissions.
LN9 Lens and its volunteers accept no responsibility for any incidents, injuries or claims arising from the filming of, or travel associated with, your video. By uploading content, you confirm that your video was created safely and legally, and that no issues arose during its production.
Polite Notice
LN9 Lens is a free community service for viewing, uploading and hosting local content in the vast majority of cases. It is managed by volunteers who give their time, experience and equipment to support the people, villages and communities of LN9.
Our aim is to provide a truly local video information service that showcases the area, its people, businesses, events and stories. While we always strive to provide a reliable service, if something goes wrong we will do our best to put it right as quickly as possible.
We simply ask that users treat contributors and administrators with courtesy and respect. Constructive feedback is always welcome, and compliments are always appreciated.
Points to Note
Most successful videos are concise and engaging. As a guide:

30–60 seconds – Ideal for awareness messages and simple explainers.

1–3 minutes – Suitable for informative content, stories and animations.

3–5 minutes – Best for more detailed information or observations.

5–30 minutes – Ideal for educational content that can be divided into shorter episodes.

Prioritise nature. Maintain distance from animals and avoid disturbing natural habitats or nesting areas.
Respect privacy. Ensure you have obtained explicit permission from any individuals directly featured in your video.
Clarity matters. Upload in 1080p resolution with a stable horizontal orientation for the best viewing.
Keep it LN9. Focus on the nature, events, and community stories that define our unique landscape. Remember Tony of LN9Lens has the final word on vetting

- Complete the submission form with details.
- Select your video file and hit the submit button.
- Maximun upload of 15gb.
- Focus on all matters LN9 only. We will concur or otherwise on its playlist.
- High-definition quality preferred.
- Ensure you have the rights to the content and the permission of its subject where needed..
