Horncastle's Green Wheel
First proposed by Horncastle Town Council in 2016, the Green Wheel was designed as a circular route around the town for walkers, cyclists, mobility scooter users, and other non-motorised travel. Linking many of Horncastle’s green spaces, parts of the route, mainly to the west of the town, are already in place. This feature looks at the vision behind the project, its progress so far, and why this valuable idea should not be allowed to fade away.
